Summer's Here

Today was the first hot day, so we thought we would get the sprinkler out.  Jae liked the sprinkler, but he loved the hose!  Ps - Foster Family:  I still love my bunny shoes!

Goal of 2012

The Herzogs have a new goal for 2012....all of us be healthy at the same time.  Sounds easy, right?  Not so much if you live in this house.  For those of you that don't know, Paul was at Mayo for a week as a result of a virus everyone gets before the age of 5 (expect Paul, obviously).  Jae has had a mysterious bumpy rash on his arms for the past two weeks.  And I am finally over a bout of pneumonia.  I don't think there has ever been so many prescription medicines in this house as there is right now.  But, everyone is on the mend. For now.

Other news, our house is on the market and has been for the past month.  Kind-of a long story, but we made a contingent offer on another home here in town.  We weren't seriously looking, but a house just fell in our laps.  Seriously.  The house we purchased was never listed on the market.  We knew someone who knew someone who was "thinking" about selling.  Closing is set for September 1st.  Now we just need to sell ours.  Knock on wood, but this might be the week.  We had one second showing last week and then a VERY positive first showing Friday night.  And someone apparently drove up the house and snuck a few pictures yesterday (thanks to our neighbors/spies).
